In this Pediatric RN role, you’ll oversee comprehensive pediatric care across inpatient and possibly outpatient environments, collaborating with physicians, therapists, and families to deliver patient- and family-centered care. Core responsibilities include monitoring and assessing pediatric patients, administering medications and IV therapies, performing essential procedures, managing pain and symptom control, and recognizing early signs of clinical change. You’ll lead and document accurate assessments, plan and implement age-appropriate interventions, educate families on treatment plans, and support safe discharge planning. You’ll partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care, advocate for child- and family-specific needs, and contribute to evidence-based practice with a focus on safety, quality improvement, and compassionate communication.
