Shipper

HOURS : 1st shift: Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm

PAY RATE : $18.00/hr

Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with a reputable company in East Syracuse, NY to find a Shipper to work on their team! This position is temp-to-hire !

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Pick and package material to ship using a push cart or forklift
• Prepare shipping documentation
• Unload trucks and stock product
• Enter transactions into computer system
• Perform cycle counts of inventory
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred
• Previous forklift experience a plus
• High School Diploma / GED
• Computer and data entry skills required - must be familiar with Excel
• SAP experience preferred
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $18.00 per hour. This is the reasonable estimate for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Pay could be more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
