Job Description

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE DIRECT EXPERIENCE WITH SEO DATA, DASHBOARDING AND REPORTING. THIS JOB IS ALSO NOT OPEN TO CANDIDATES REQUIRING H-1B SPONSORSHIP NOW OR IN THE FUTURE.

At New Media Advisors, we don’t just deliver SEO and content strategies—we empower in-house marketing teams to build and sustain digital growth. As ex-in-house leaders with 125+ years of combined experience, we partner with mid-market and enterprise brands to solve real problems, drive organic performance, and upskill internal teams. We’re not an agency. We’re strategic consultants embedded in our clients’ worlds.

Job Description

We’re looking for a SEO Data Analytics Specialist to help us uncover insights, build reporting infrastructure, and develop data-driven performance stories across our portfolio of client engagements. If you’re passionate about digital marketing, SEO data, and creating clean, clear dashboards that drive real decisions — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze SEO, content, and web performance across client websites and campaigns.
  • Pull and synthesize data from tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Insights and other SEO reporting platforms like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and more.
  • Build automated reports and dashboards to track KPIs across client search visibility, traffic, conversions, and content performance.
  • Support consultants with ad hoc analysis and visual storytelling for client presentations.
  • Normalize and blend data from multiple sources to deliver holistic insights.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and find new ways to unlock value from client data.

Tools You Might Use Here

  • Analytics: Google Analytics (UA & GA4), Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools.
  • SEO Platforms: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SEO Clarity, BrightEdge or similar.
  • Data Visualization: Tableau, Domo, Power BI, Looker Studio.
  • Data Handling: Google Sheets, Excel, Python, basic SQL (a plus).
  • Project Management: ClickUp (we use it across all teams).
  • Artificial Intelligence: Custom GPTs and agentic AI workflows such as N8N or Replit

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing or digital analytics, ideally with a concentration in SEO.
  • Comfort working directly in analytics platforms and pulling raw data at scale, including API and ETL configurations.
  • Ability to blend qualitative and quantitative insights into a compelling performance narrative.
  • Strong communicator who can translate metrics into client-friendly stories.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
  • Located in the United States (sorry this position is not open to applicants outside of the US)

Bonus Experience (Not Required)

  • Familiarity with enterprise or multi-location SEO reporting.
  • Experience working in a consulting or client-facing role.
  • Exposure to AI tools, predictive modeling, or content intelligence platforms.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary + performance-based bonus.
  • Flexible, remote-first work environment (U.S.-based).
  • Exposure to a wide range of clients and data challenges.
  • Low-ego, collaborative team that values high performance and clarity.
  • Opportunity to grow into a senior analytics role as our team scales.
