General Aviation Maintenance Technician Job Description
Locations needing A&P IA : Cedar City, Utah & Gillette, WY
We are seeking experienced Aviation Maintenance Technicians to join our team at our locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance and repair, with a focus on delivering safe and reliable aircraft operations. MUST BE AN FAA LICENSED A&P IA MECHANIC.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on various aircraft components
- Conduct repairs and replacements of aircraft parts and systems as needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for all work performed
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and aircraft engineers to resolve complex technical issues
- Comply with all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certification
- FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) Certification (for Utah and Wyoming locations)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation maintenance
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and avionics
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Flexible schedule to accommodate maintenance needs, including nights and weekends
