About the role:
The Endobariatric Field Health Economics and Market Access (HEMA) Manager plays a pivotal role in overcoming reimbursement challenges for both patients and providers, ensuring access to Endobariatric technologies for eligible patients. Acting as a central liaison, the Field HEMA Manager connects providers, patients, payers, field sales, marketing, and the Patient Access Support team to address and resolve reimbursement concerns efficiently.
As a subject-matter expert in reimbursement, access, and coverage, the Field HEMA Manager proactively educates field sales teams and key accounts—including bariatric and gastroenterology practices, academic institutions, and hospitals—on topics affecting Endobariatric technologies and procedures. This education is tailored to align with Boston Scientific's expanding portfolio needs. Through proactive customer engagement, comprehensive education, and dedicated field support, the Field HEMA Manager drives improved patient access, accelerates product adoption, and supports the strategic growth objectives of the organization.
This is a field-based (remote) position with overnight travel estimated up to 75%. The ideal candidate will be located in the West Region of the United States, including California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana .

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see --will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
