Accountant job at Solomon Page Ridgefield, CT, US

Job Description

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Accountant to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Ridgefield, CT. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and expectational time management skills. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.

Role Overview:

Contract Role: 12 months
Pay: $30-35/hr on W2
Schedule: Hybrid scheduled, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Perform journal entries
Support month-end close responsibilities
Handle account reconciliations
Prepares asset, liability, and financial account entries

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
3+ years of corporate accounting experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
SAP experience is required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Experience creating presentations and writing reprorts
